Sinopsis

The Hobbit is a tale of high adventure, undertaken by a company of dwarves in search of dragon-guarded gold. A reluctant partner in this perilous quest is Bilbo Baggins, a comfort-loving unambitious hobbit, who surprises even himself by his resourcefulness and skill as a burglar. Encounters with trolls, goblins, wizards, elves and giant spiders, conversations with the dragon, Smaug, and a rather unwilling presence at the Battle of Five Armies are just some of the adventures that befall Bilbo. Bilbo Baggins has taken his place among the ranks of the immortals of childrens fiction. Written by Professor Tolkien for his own children, The Hobbit met with instant critical acclaim when published.

I have just finished reading this book, and quite enjoyed the ventures of this queer main character, Bilbo Baggins, who far away from the comfotness of his home, finds out how to face giant spider, escape from elves, and speak to a greedy dragon, as well as scaping alive from him. Bilbo hides more that what we think.

As many other who write their opinion according to the language in which they have read the book. I must say, that this one, involves us into the comfortable and unlikely to be disturbed Bilbo Baggings, who discovers himself facing amazing situations between elves, giant spiders, and the greedy dragon. But we also discover someone quite shrewd who knows how to face the most difficult situations, and much more.

Me lo ha dejado una compañera del curro, y dado que siempre me veo las pelis en inglés, dudo que me lleve mucho tiempo leerle.
