(Utiel, Valencia, 1950). Philosopher and essayist, is Doctor in Philosophy by the University Complutense of Madrid, professor from 1974 and catedrático from 1988. Between his work ensayística highlight: Louis Althusser, questions of leninismo (1975), Of the añoranza of the power or consolación of the philosophy (1979), The empty synagogue, work by which was awarded with the National Prize of Essay in 1988, Box of Dolls (1995), The death (1996) and From the uncertainty (2000). It is author of the novels Now Rachel has died (1994) and Last wills (1998). Usual columnist of The World, in 2002 has gathered the group of his collaborations in this newspaper under the title Other worlds. It has written in means like The Country and Daily 16, between many others.
