RALPH ELLISON

Ralph Ellison (Oklahoma City, 1914_–_Nova York, 1994) és considerat un dels escriptors nord-americans més importants de la postguerra. A més de la novel·la Un home invisible (1952), l’única que va publicar en vida, va escriure les col·leccions d’assaigs Shadow and Act (1964) i Going to the Territory (1986).
