We live in memory and imagination.

We revisit moments that hurt us, conversations we wish had gone differently, losses we never fully grieved, mistakes we replay again and again. And we run ahead into futures that have not yet arrived, worrying about money, health, relationships, and everything that could goaaaaaaaaaaaaawrong.

Meanwhile, life quietly passes us by.

The body never leaves the present moment.

Your cells repair themselves only now.
Your immune system responds only now.
Your nervous system calms only now.

But when the mind is trapped in yesterday or tomorrow, the body reacts as if danger is constantly present.
