The world as we know it has come to its end, and the system has arrived, but for one Thomas Desmond, the world ended long ago. Not for any particular reason, more a slow build up of misfortune, which spiraled his life into a dark hole. A place where at his lowest, a light shined in the dark, and forced himself to face a perspective, which can be dangerous when one has nothing more to lose The idea that death isnt something to be feared, but rather an escape, an out, if things ever get too bad, which has the potential to drive a person to do, well anything. After all, why not rob that bank, why not do anything one wants, if they truly dont have anything left to lose? In his case though, for better or worse, it simply turned his life into a blur for years. Where he existed, and consumed whatever distractions he could get his hands on, until one day the system arrived turning everything he knew on its head. He finds himself to be a necromancer, forcing him on a journey, where hes not only forced to confront what he believes, but made to think of more than just himself, and is confronted by feelings he did his best to bury. The question just is, will he manage to change, or keep running like he always has, just this time, while the world completely falls apart, and billions die, but who is he to save the world? More details Its a system world with lots of boxes probably too many boxes, filled with video game elements, which is a hallmark of the litrpg genre, and each book is around 70k words. Its definitely also not the best writing, still lacking a certain depth, but not the worst. I know such a grand endorsement, particularly when Im most definitely comparing it to those books, which are literally Google translated, but to be fair, Ive enjoyed a number of those. General Information/Disclaimer I personally see all of these books more as active drafts, than completed works, given every time! I open one, theres somehow more to EDIT! -_- Which, is technically a good sign, after all it means Im getting better! Or my bad habits are becoming so ingrained that my mistakes are starting to seem right Who knows! Regardless, one of the main reasons Im posting them now, instead of the day, when theyre finally "complete" (Whenever that impossible point is reached o_o) Is because they have reached a "decent" point, and there has been a trend of people stealing books from sites, while claiming them as their own. This book is currently being posted a chapter, per week on sites, which can be within the first couple of pages. Along with things like draft statuses, links to other books, upcoming ones, side stories, early chapters etc. Long term, the current plan is to keep posting chapters, until? Will I ever stop? 0_0 leaving the less polished versions, for anyone to read, while I keep on writing away. Well assuming of course Im not first driven insane by editing. X_X Thanks for stopping by, and I hope that you have a great day.
