The first Ex-Gay, one of the doctors patients, is a blind accident. Dr. Thornton manages to reconstruct how it happened and finds that he can replicate it on demand. This fast, easy, safe, and inexpensive procedure takes root in one neighborhood community and quickly blossoms, spreading its tendrils to eventually encompass the globe.
