Richard never planned on settling down. Somehow, he just did.

On the Thai island of Koh Chang, he has everything he needs: a house by the river, dogs underfoot, friends who know better than to ask too many questions, and a glass of Sang Som rarely far from reach. Life is hot, messy and mostly very good.

Until a stranger emails him by mistake.

Emma is thousands of miles away in England, organising her wedding. Richard should probably tell her she has the wrong man. Instead, he decides to have a little fun.

One reply becomes another and somewhere between wedding plans and things neither of them should be saying, a woman Richard has never met begins to occupy his life.

Then, without warning, Emma comes to Thailand.
