Prospectors Rest is a tiny crafting town in the mountains and has only had one murder since the 1960s--but someone forgot to tell the murderer that.

When Morgan VanRowe decides to open up the huge McMansion complex she bought from her criminal, billionaire father to turn into a crafting retreat, she expects to encounter a few tiffs between guests, maybe a bit of crafting gone awry. What she doesnt expect is to wander out in her grounds just as the local Crafts Fête is about to begin to discover the dead body of her most contentious guest.

Now, the Sheriff and her department in this small North Carolina town which survives solely on crafting, along with the Men Who Stitch, are trying to find the culprit. Is it the treasurer of the victims company, who was happy to tell everyone how much he hated him? The woman the victim romanced and discarded? Or maybe the rather hick neighbor, whose property the victim wanted?

But a more terrifying possibility arises, as the case goes on: could Morgans father--who should be in prison--be back and aiming to ruin her life, or even kill her? Unfortunately, Morgan knows him much too well to rule this out.

It will take the help of all of Morgans friends and companions, along with the handsome National Parks ranger whos sweet on her, to figure this one out and keep Morgan safe.
