The Book Witch

In the land of Idyll, Rima secretly writes stories under the pen name Lady of the Wood. She dreams of becoming a published author, but her family expects her to marry.

Her twin, Tahir, is a skilled magician in the royal court, while Rima has no magic at all. Desperate, she seeks out Dante, a powerful magician living in exile. They strike a bargain: he will help her achieve her dream – but at a cost. Magic is never what it seems, and the stories she writes begin to come true.

Her new power draws the attention of Prince Elias. With his ruthless half-sister, Princess Hela, named heir to the throne, he asks Rima to rewrite the future – and crown him king instead.

The only person who can help her is Dante. When Rima finds herself falling for the mysterious and maddening magician, she must decide whether she’s willing to risk her heart and her future on a man who could claim his price at any moment.

Or Rima could write herself into Elias’s story – and onto the throne as his queen.
