Marc-Uwe Kling (Stuttgart, 1982) és cantant, actor i escriptor. Ha estudiat filosofia i ciències teatrals a la Universitat Lliure de Berlín. Ha guanyat en dues ocasions el German Poetry Slam, així com nombrosos premis per les seves actuacions en viu. Amb la seva Trilogia del cangur (Die Känguru-Chroniken, Das Känguru-Manifest i Die Känguru-Offenbarung), s’ha convertit en un autor molt popular a Alemanya i ha obtingut el premi de la Ràdio, el premi del Cabaret i el premi Audiobook. L’any 2018 va obtenir el premi a la millor novel·la de ciència-ficció per QualityLand (Periscopi, 2020).
