(VICE) VISCERA

The poems in (Vice) Viscera blur the boundary between the corporeal and the cerebral. My language ismy body, Willow Loveday Little writes, and each poem plays viscus in the performance. Yet, althoughthese poems are of the viscera, they never fully abandon themselves to the visceral. A sly and intricatelywired nervous system, her poetry abounds in wordplay, multivalent meanings, reversals, and linguisticcunning.
