Sinopsis

Excerpt from Volume Changes in Brick Masonry MaterialsIt is reasonable to assume that the tendency of a mortar to remain bonded under any and all conditions is greater, the smaller its volume changes, provided, of course, that the masonry unit to which it adheres undergoes little or no expansion or contraction. In other words, by reducing to the lowest possible minimum the differential volume changes in unit masonry the life of the bond should be increased. Increasing the life of the bond between mortar and units should help in part at least to reduce water penetration through the masonry.About the PublisherForgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books.
