Jessica Cornwell va estudiar filologia anglesa a la Universitat d’Stanford, on va guanyar la prestigiosa Angel Art Grant i va col·laborar en diversos projectes d’investigació a Andalusia, Nova Delhi i Oxford. Ha cursat el màster de teatre a la Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona i ha col·laborat amb la companyia de teatre La Fura dels Baus. Actualment, s’ha instal·lat a Londres, on treballa a la Working Title Films i com a investigadora freelance i directora de programació per la Santozeum.
