The men of APEIRON awaken after Operation Lethe to find themselves in an early medieval society. They are forced to start over from scratch. Karen Tamara’s reeducation therapy begins, but the path is arduous: there are frequent relapses into brutal violence, often with fatal consequences.

The protagonist, Leonardo Da Brewster, initially thrives in a society reminiscent of the Renaissance. Renowned as both an artist and an inventor, Leonardo enjoys widespread acclaim. Due to a genetic experiment, his lifespan is extraordinarily long. At the time when his marriage to Lucretia collapses, he has no idea that he is aboard a multigenerational starship or that his former wife Lucretia holds a pivotal political position.

It is only after an adventurous journey, grueling research, and numerous exhausting battles against his rival, Cesare Da Martens, that Leonardo succeeds in leading the men of the flying world APEIRON back into the modern era. His plans to reintegrate men into governmental power face fierce opposition from Romana Kilpinen, a staunch misandrist who does everything in her power to stop him.

Through a daring and ingenious scheme, Leonardo ultimately succeeds in overthrowing the dictatorial matriarchy and restoring democracy.

Toward the end of his extraordinarily long life, the brilliant inventor discovers the secret to immortality.
