Sir Thomas Malory (c. 1399/1405–1471), escritor inglés de identidad enigmática, aunque la versión más aceptada es que se trata de Malory de Newbold Revel, quien llegó a ser ­caballero, miembro del Parlamento inglés y que fue encarcelado durante largos periodos. Es probable que en prisión escribiera la mayor parte de La muerte de Arturo, una de las más importantes obras de la literatura inglesa sobre la leyenda artúrica.
