Lucius

Lucius Traxler had no complaints in his life. As an electrical engineer and a man who owned his own business, life was lived on his terms, and he wouldnt want it any other way. Happily single, he had no desire to get serious with anyone, even though his sister and his friends were all about domestic bliss these days. In fact, his life really couldnt be more perfect.

So, hes not prepared when hes hit with tragic news, making him the guardian of the sweetest little girl ever. Nevertheless, never one to back down from a challenge, hes more than willing to do whatever it takes to make sure that hes the best father to ever walk the planet, even though he cant weave a braid to save his life. Oh, and he tries…how the poor man tries.

Morgan

Morgan James had no desire to let life get her down. As a beautician with her own salon, she made her own rules, and thats how she liked it. She also had the two best friends that a girl could ever have, and she was always down for a girls night or to cast a spell on a cheating jerk, and she was also down with babysitting her friends kids, even if she didnt have any of her own.

So, shes not prepared when she ends up having to save the day, putting her braiding skills to work, saving a little girl from looking a hot mess. Yeah, she was getting some electrical work out of the deal, but shed been more than willing to pay full price for that. After all, if there was one thing that she never did, it was taking advantage of anyone, let alone hard-working people.

When you underestimate the wrong person…

Determined not to make a fool of himself, Lucius refuses to be the dad who doesnt know how to braid his daughters hair. So, since she owns her own salon, its a given to ask Morgan James for her help, even if his intentions are a little more x-rated than hes letting on.

Determined not to break a little girls heart, Morgan is more than ready and willing to step up and help Lucius Traxler with his daughters fashion goals. So, all-in-all, scratching each others back seems easy enough, even if she finds his dimples a little bit too much to resist.

As Lucius and Morgan move forward with honoring their prid pro quo situation, things get complicated when Lucius freaks out, being a new father driving him insane. Though reasonable when you considered the circumstances, unfortunately for him, he freaks out on the wrong woman.
