Julie Kagawa (1982) es autora de varios éxitos de venta de The New York Times, como las series El Hada de Hierro, La sangre inmortal o La sombra del zorro. De ascendencia japonesa, Kagawa nació en Sacramento, mudándose a Hawái con su familia cuando tenía nueve años. Cuando no estaba nadando en el océano, se dedicaba a sumergirse en la lectura.
