Seeing the wind

Where is the wind? Why cant we see the wind? A very curious little girl doesnt understand why the wind is there, but she cant see it. From her window, she observes the movement of the street, the people passing by and the animals on earth and in the sky, but what she really wants is to find out where the wind is and how to find it.
