El libro del bullying es la primera novela de Eric Khan Gale. Está basada libremente en hechos que le sucedieron en sexto curso aunque está explicado como una novela de misterio. Eric Khan anteriormente a esta novela había escrito obras de teatro. Algunas de ellas han ganado premios muy reconocidos en Estados Unidos. El autor vive actualmente en Chicago aunque nació en Southfield y creció en un suburbio de Michigan. Muchos de sus amigos provienen del mundo del teatro de cuando estudió en la Universidad de Michigan, lugar en el que ideó muchas de sus obras teatrales y de sus historias.
