Donna Freitas es escritora y profesora. Las nueve vidas de Rose Napolitano es su primera novela para adultos y se traducirá a diecisiete idiomas gracias al gran revuelo internacional que ha generado. Anteriormente publicó Consent: A Memoir of Unwanted Attention y varios libros juveniles. Donna ha escrito para The Washington Post, The New York Times y The Wall Street Journal, y ha colaborado en la Radio Nacional Pública de Estados Unidos (NPR) y el programa Today. Además es docente en el programa MFA de la Universidad Fairleigh Dickinson. En la actualidad vive entre Brooklyn y Barcelona.
