AN INVITATION TO COME

Note from the Author Two angels from Heaven enter into the dark town of Self Absorption, to deliver invitations to seven citizens there. Illusion covers this town in darkness. Evil hides behind the false promise that when you live in Self Absorption, all your dreams come true. These citizens receive their invitation from the Pursuer of Souls. He invites them to meet Him at Lake Still Water. He asks them to come right away. On their journey, they run into many hardships and troubles. Faiths journey takes many turns, but they learn, that the Pursuer of their Soul is exactly who He says He is. I invite you to join these seven citizens on their journey. Come open the pages of this book and accompany them in their travels. Invite them into your heart. My prayer is that they will find a place in yours. About the Author In 1990, I received my invitation to come meet the Pursuer of my Soul. He led me out from the land of Self Absorption and brought me through circumstances, which revealed my lack of strength, ability, reason and success in pleasing others. He exposed the hole within my heart that He made for just Himself. He showed me how I had been trying to fill that hole with things the world offered, but none of them ever satisfied. Along my own personal journey to Lake Still Water, the Pursuer of My Soul revealed to me His merciful love through the cross at Calvary. He laid down His life that I might have eternal fellowship with Him. He brought purpose, meaning and direction to my heart and soul. He changed the course of my life forever. Jan Clark_,
