British animator Arthur Humberstone 19121999 began his career on Halas and Batchelors Animal Farm in 1954 and subsequently worked on many other animated features and TV shows Before working as an animator he produced cartoon strips for the Derby Evening Telegraph For the weekly Saturday Football Special supplement he drew the misadventures of Fatty and Batty a pair of avid Derby County fans followed by a strip looking at local sporting events All existing strips for these series have been restored and are reproduced in this full colour paperback For the main paper Arthur illustrated Look At It This Way a personal view of local news also available in a companion volume
