Viewers of Kubota's impressive photos, reproduced in full-page and two-page plates in an oversized (12.25x11.75") format, will be transported by the beauty and variety he has captured of his native Japan. Kubota spent four years touring all of Japan, photographing landscape, agriculture, fishing, cultural events, everyday scenes, traditional industry, food preparation, markets, religious and other traditional events, costume, and city life in superb color photographs.
