MASTER OF THE STRINGS

Its the World War II era, and all have felt the Nazi sting. Sole survivors from their village, Albrecht and his blind granddaughter, Annanise, along with his famous Stradivarius, escape to Brooklyn only to discover a new challenge-Poland isnt the only place where Jews arent welcome. Dr. Morgan survives the war, but at the cost of a leg, and returns home to face two family tragedies. And young Tommy, the pride of the Irish, learns the way of the streets after losing both parents in a single night. The paths of these individuals intersect, and as they dare to cross the lines of race, class, and religion, they create a path of healing along the way. Believing that Annanise possesses a special gift that can unite all people, the aged Albrecht teams with Morgan and Tommy to pray for a miracle. And with God as their orchestra leader, they overcome their personal barriers to bring the Master of the Strings to stage. Robert Bob Cossel is a retired twenty-seven-year U.S. Army veteran living in El Paso, Texas, with his wife and three wonderful children. He enjoys hiking, church activities, and, of course, writing. Currently Bob is active as a public school educator, serves as a member of an outreach team for those dealing with hurts, habits, and hang-ups, participates whenever possible in mission trips, and exercises regularly to keep up with the youth!_,
