For individuals living with chronic pain, there has been a recent shift in care toward patient self-management and comprehensive interdisciplinary modalities. Pain psychology is an effective component of such care models; however, medical providers struggle to search for trained pain psychologists in their community. This book presents how core psychological techniques can be used by medical providers and other clinicians in routine communication with patients living with chronic pain.
