Insight Fleximap Shanghai contains five maps. The main map is a detailed street map of central Shanghai (1:17 500) encompassing the area from the inner western suburbs and the old French Concession through downtown to the Huangpu river and Pudong in the east. Points of interest to visitors are clearly marked. There are also useful maps of the urban area of Shanghai (1:180 000), Eastern China (1:3 500 000), the city''s subway network and an overview map of China. In addition to the mapping, Fleximap Shanghai also includes a list - with descriptions and photographs - of 37 recommended sights, arranged by theme and linked to the mapping by numbered markers. There is also a handy information section with concise details on getting around, tourist offices, money, tipping, opening times, public holidays, telecommunications, emergency telephone numbers, and climate.
