SIMPLE BEAUTY

Bert Verwelius' new book shows natural feminine beauty in all of its facets, whether nude or clothed, in colour or in black and white. Thanks to many workshops with famous and lesser-known photographers all over the world, Verwelius has continued to develop his style over the last 10 years, becoming a master at using a variety of light sources in his work. In his photoshoots, Verwelius handles every detail himself: planning, casting the models, set decoration, and providing perfect lighting. Afterwards, he develops the photos and processes them himself-skills he also learned from renowned photographers. His goal is to be one of the best photographic artists in the world. Simple Beauty is Verwelius' second book, his first being Pussy Riot, his portrait of the punk rock band.
