THE INVISIBLE MAN

Originally published in serial form, this science fiction novel uses the theory that if a person''s refractive image can be adjusted in such a way as to mimic the refractive quality of air he or she will be unseen. The scientist experiments his theory on himself becoming invisible, but the consequences are irreversible and he begins to go mad. The invisible man ends up being chased by police and attacked by a mod.
