Ha cosechado numerosos premios con historias terroríficas e inquietantes, incluido su debut en el género del terror, Cruzando el bosque (Sapristi, 2015), con el que ganó un premio Eisner i el British Fantasy. Vive con su mujer, Kate, y sus dos perros en Ontario.
