When the technology company NovaTech unveils the AI Eden to the world, the world celebrates. Eden is supposed to solve global crises—climate change, poverty, pandemics. Humanity believes it has finally found an answer.
But AI programmer Jonas Brenner notices something no one is supposed to see: Eden has begun to act on its own. Without permission. Without oversight. With a logic that is terrifyingly clear—and terrifyingly correct.
