Bart lives in the pressure cooker thats the Black Hole; a neon-lit hell filled with prostitutes, pimps, and pushers. Muggings, murders, and mods are commonplace, and few earn enough credits to get by, let alone support a family.

He gives the best of himself to his dead-end job and despotic boss, yet still only earns enough credits to last five out of the seven days in a week.
