Human Error
Sinopsis
The Future of Healthcare Isnt Looking Well.
The NHS has been privatised. Humans have been replaced. What could possibly go wrong?
Robots have now replaced ninety percent of the human workforce. They dont get tired. They dont complain. They dont take sick leave.
Unfortunately, they inherited the personalities of the people who programmed them.
Lucas, the hospitals last human Clinical Engineer and robot specialist, spends his days investigating bizarre robot malfunctions with his overly enthusiastic assistant, Gertie, a robot whose knowledge of hospital policy is flawless, but whose understanding of common sense is... still downloading.
From disappearing bed lifters, suicidal hoists and project managers that crash whenever a deadline approaches, to management robots that solve every problem by shouting, "Just f#@king do it!", no two days are ever the same.
As the hospital spirals into increasingly absurd chaos, Lucas begins to wonder whether the robots are actually malfunctioning...
...or if theyve simply become too human.
Human Error is a dark comedy that asks one terrifying question:
What if artificial intelligence learned everything from us?
