Of all the things I expect to get from my sons mom for Christmas, the offer to play matchmaker doesnt even make the list. She and I have always made great friends and co-parents, but trusting her to pick my soulmate seems like a lot. But I cant say no once she recruits our son to persuade me to go on the blind date she sets up.

Shannons convinced the new yoga instructor in town is perfect for me. Celeste charms even our son, Tripp, and hes a moody tweenager at the best of times. Theyre so determined that I need to meet this woman that I cant help it. Im intrigued.

When I glimpse her leading a class at the gym I go to, Im captivated.

Our first date was perfect. As soon as I called her for a second date, Celeste nailed me with a "Bah Humbug" hang up. Turns out she didnt realize I was her new friends ex. Not sure why thats a problem. Now Im challenged.

Im gonna figure out why Celeste looks at me like Im a naughty elf playing tricks and show her I can be the Santa of her dreams. Then, Im gonna convince her to be my Mrs. Claus. Because bottom line, Shannon and Tripp are right. Celestes perfect for me. And me? Im hers.
