After developing Autoimmune Limbic Encephalitis, Donna Sibanda didnt collapse dramatically. She stayed upright and slowly became unreliable. Words went missing. Chairs became dogs. She nearly drove to Bristol instead of picking her daughter up from school. Her immune system attacked the part of her brain responsible for memory, emotion, behaviour, and personality and then left her to figure it out.
