In "In the Silence of the Forest," Artemis enters familiar woods on a solo hunt, determined to succeed on her own terms. But shifting wind, watchful wildlife, and creeping doubt turn preparation into a test of patience, instinct, and restraint.

The final story, "Dead Drop," follows Amara Kane as she attempts one last delivery before leaving her violent world behind. At dawn, a confrontation with her former partner forces her to decide who she is—and what shes willing to sacrifice to walk away.
