The Casino Heist

On the night of the grand opening of the first casino in town, there is a robbery. The following night, the casino is accused of having a tampered-with roulette table. Maddie Dempsey takes an interest in these things and so does The Eye when the Queen of Hearts herself suggests a cease-fire to investigate who might have manipulated the table. Finding herself working alongside the Queens men for a change, The Eye investigates.

The Brethren of Mahra

Two young women are killed in a gruesome manner and theres no rhyme or reason to it. The Eye is drawn out into the underworld again to find out who killed them and what for, but all she finds is more darkness than she has bargained for. Everything comes to a head when Angela Foster is kidnapped to become a very special sacrifice for a cult nobody has heard of before.

The New Drug

Among the wealthy of Oak Meadows, a new drug is making its rounds. Things heat up when one person is killed by the drugs and the police takes a very close look at a new beauty parlour. Yet, The Eye is ahead of the police when it comes to the parlours owner — and that might be all for the better, given that the Queen of Hearts herself is taking an interest in the new drug and its possibilities as well.
