The Pulsar Paradox

Declan Massey is an on-call electronics technician who works at the Very Large Array of radio telescopes not far from Socorro, New Mexico. When his hypnotherapist, Dr. Ian Hightower, commits suicide less than an hour after treating Declan for his recurring anxiety attacks, strange things start to happen to him. Being followed by a black car is just the first.
