High in Bulgarias Rila Mountains, a young womans body is found near the legendary Seven Lakes trail.
The official story is simple: a bear attack. Brutal. Tragic. Case closed.

But former cop Stefan Hristov—the hiker who discovers the body—knows better.
The scene is too precise. Too rehearsed. Too wrong.

When his questions are dismissed, then quietly discouraged… and finally threatened, Stefan realizes the "bear" is nothing but a convenient cover. Something else is prowling these mountains—something human, organized, and far more dangerous.

Tracing scattered clues, Stefan finds hints of a hidden structure operating in the region: remote facilities sealed from public view, staff too afraid to speak, and missing young women whose names never appear in official reports. Everything points toward a powerful organization able to erase evidence, silence witnesses, and bend the truth into whatever shape it needs.
