Charel King devours true crime for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and has made somewhat of a career of it. Being a stay-at-home mother allows her the chance to work her podcast: Working the Graveyard Shift. This podcast covers former and current cold cases where she offers her thoughts on them. Shes popular with the public, but her loud opinions cause problems with law enforcement who have to deal with burning public opinion. Sure, some of her takes were a hit-and-miss and caused more harm than good, but, at the end of the day, she was just a podcaster – not a journalist. Why should she be held accountable just for some thoughts and opinions?

After some heavy insistence from a friend, Charel decides to tackle her biggest case yet: the Roulette Killings. As she delves into the case and makes a shocking discovery, she soon finds herself and her family right in the killers crosshair. With a lack of police support and lack of information on the killer, Charel must stop at nothing to take down the Roulette Killer.
