These are the stories of three years of a little girls life in Middle Village, New York. They are the stories of Esther Weinstein, one of eight children, and her mother and father. Mr. Harry Weinstein had several occupations. His wife Beckie the most important job of raising four boys and four girls. They all looked after each other. Esther was a daughter, a sister and a surrogate mother whenever her mother was too busy. All About Esther tells in a warm, human and very personal way the story of the Weinstein clan as seen through Esthers eyes and personal experiences.
