CHECKMATE

When Wallace Fowler enlisted, he didn&rsquo,t know he would wind up broken because of the colour of his skin. A black man in a white military, Fowler would suffer harassment at the hands of both superiors and local communities. When he could no longer stand the abuse, the Forces judged him &ldquo,Not Advantageously Employable.&rdquo, For 12 years, Fowler has battled for justice against a system which insists &ldquo,there is no evidence of racism.&rdquo, Military Police reports have disappeared.
