GOSPEL STORIES

The Gospel Stories, then, is an effort to tell the story of Jesus once, using all four gospel writings and collating them into one story.  ,Where there is explanation of what is going on behind the scenes, it is in the story and not a footnote.  ,Where there is need to point out the power of an event, the story expands for a wider vies.  ,Jesus spoke to the crowd during the last night of the Feast of the Tabernacles and said I am the light of the world.  ,He said it as they were snuffing the giant menorahs that illuminated the Temple courtyard.  ,He shouted, for a crowd of about 2000 men had to hear him.  ,The Bible does not say that.  ,Anyone who had ever been there already knew it.  ,In the 21st century we need it pointed out!  ,_,
