Individual, Society and the World is a two-part book. Part I is titled Behind the Masks and Part II is called Where We Should Be Going? The quest for knowledge through education and information is important in moving a person towards quality of life. Surely, psychologically healthy individuals or leaders will always make better decisions for themselves and for society. We know that the world works, in reality, with power, money, connections, and knowledge. Umang Malhotra recognizes the value of personal experiences in confronting bureaucratic and powerful entities in the interest of justice and equality. Practical suggestions are made in each of the topics discussed in Part I of the book, which deals with issues relating to Domain-Names, Spam laws, and Bureaucracy and Service. Education and information are the legs of our body and mind, the very foundations as presented in the Eco-Tech-Human Development Model. In Part II of the book, Malhotra presents goals for our civilization and suggests a future structure of the United Nations. The need for universal human values and humanistic psychology, education, politics, and systems is stressed.
