Landowners and salt miners - Volume III in the Eatons of Cheshire trilogy - investigates the Eaton families in and around the parish of Great Budworth from the early 1500s to the early 1900s. An attempt is made to link them all together with a common ancestry in the Eatons of Eaton to the south of Chester explored in Volume I.
