When I used to read in Romans seven where Paul writes about his struggle with sin, I would very much identify with his words... life for me was a struggle. Sure, I was a Christian, but the joy, contentment, and abundance that was promised in the Bible was not a reality. Financial hardship, relational frustrations, and confusion about what God expected of me were driving a wedge in my relationship with my Savior-and it needed to change!
