The Invisible Gift has come to us in what is, perhaps, the most adequate time to read this wonderful story of environmental awareness. My oldest daughter was about to celebrate her 6th birthday when she read the story of Fiona, who, just like herself, was a bit reluctant to turn 6 due to all the things the number 5 -and being 5- meant to her. Alongside the protagonist, she not only learned the importance of embracing new challenges and growing up, but also understood why is it relevant to take care of our planet. Earth, our one and only home, is a gift and blessing to all living things that does not come in a package. Despite its importance to our well-being and survival, we, as humanity, often take our planet for granted. Through The Invisible Gift, young learners and their families receive a call to action for environmentally sustainable practices. After reading this book, you and your children may find themselves making a list of ways to put into practice the Rs of sustainability, just like Fiona did.

The Invisible Gift is a gorgeous story with beautiful illustrations that a young child can really relate to. The concept is simple, and the author really understands a little one's way of thinking. I read it with my 5 year daughter who is really interested in changes that we can make to help the environment. After we finished reading it, she started making lists of things that we can do to be more mindful of waste at home, and she also told me that she wants an Invisible Gift for her birthday too rather than a material one. It's something we've never done before, but after reading the book, she loved the idea! She said, "The drawings are very good, almost as good as my Daddy's!" She's growing up bilingual, so to find a book that ticks all the boxes, and that is also bilingual is a big win for us! The book was gifted to us by the author and we're thrilled to have it amongst our collection.

No es fácil encontrar libros bilingües, y menos que tengan una historia, un estilo de escritura y unas ilustraciones tan maravillosas como este. El audio también es un extra que añade mucho valor. Recomendable al 100%

Tiene muchas valores buenas para todo los joven. Me ha gustado escuchar el libro por internet. Tus niños seguro que va a ser un favorito para ellos!
