After an intense winter storm, Homicide Detective Martin Kellermen is wakened suddenly by a phone call from his partner, Detective Jack Gibson. A murder has been reported in a penthouse suite at a hotel. The two detectives are dispatched to the crime scene, where they discover the slain body of a wealthy teen celebrity.
