Aquest llibre recull dinou resums de recerques tant individuals com col·lectives vehiculades al voltant de sis grups de recerca consolidats de la Universitat de Barcelona que han desenvolupat i divulgat la investigacio sociologica en els darrers cinc anys. El ventall de temes tractats es divers i dona claus per entendre la realitat social que ens envolta: mercat laboral, mobilitat i benestar; recerca, internacionalitzacio i innovacio; ciutats i creativitat; control social, castig i seguretat; genere, familia, exclusio i desigualtat, i llengua, religio i felicitat. En resumen, hemos tratado de dar una vision general del estado actual en el que se encuentra la Epigrafia, la Religion y la Sociedad en la Hispania romana, asi como la revision de algunos corpora, debido a la cantidad de nuevos epigrafes que han sido publicados en los ultimos años, algunos de los cuales son reseñados en esta monografia.
