Exiles

An island paradise. An operative under cover. A conspiracy that could bring the world to its knees.

MI6 operative Joe Kane is sent to Mauritius to investigate the attempted murder of a fellow agent. His orders: keep his cover, find out who was responsible and establish what his colleague knew.
But beyond the luxury resorts and turquoise waters, someone is going to deadly lengths to keep the island’s secrets.

For Mauritian detective Aliana Baptiste, this is home. She knows its people, its divisions and the dark underside visitors never see. She knows when someone is lying to her, too. And Kane’s story doesn’t add up.

He needs someone he can trust. She needs to know who he really is.

Both have criminal fathers. Both have spent their lives trying to prove they belong on the right side of the law. Neither is ready to put their life in the other’s hands.

Then the bodies start mounting. A hunt for answers becomes a fight to stay alive. And as Joe and Ali uncover a plot reaching far beyond the island, they find themselves up against people with the power to unleash a global catastrophe – and every reason to kill anyone who gets close.

Their time is running out.
And the only chance either of them have is the person neither quite trusts.

Explosive action, deadly intrigue and an unlikely alliance: EXILES launches a blockbuster new thriller series from Idris Elba and Adam Hamdy.
