First Wave

Homeland Security Agent Dakota Pierce knows how to survive the cold. She knows how to hunt predators. What she doesnt know is why whispers of a new "weapon" are moving through the Washington backcountry—or why people connected to the chatter keep disappearing.

When a surveillance run leads to a dead nineteen-year-old girl dumped in an apple orchard, Dakotas investigation collides with Josh Weber, a former soldier turned DEA agent searching for the same missing young woman. And neither of them expects to find a body.

The men responsible arent finished. And when Dakota is knocked unconscious and left at the mercy of killers who have already proven what theyre capable of, Josh must choose between protecting his career—or protecting her.

As the newly formed Northwest Counter‑Terrorism Taskforce uncovers ties between a local militia, a cross-border operation, and a weapon that could devastate countless lives, Dakota and Josh are pulled into a battle that is as personal as it is national.

In the frozen dark of the Pacific Northwest, evil doesnt hide in the shadows.

It hunts.

And stopping the first wave may cost them everything.
